UW Forward is a unified University of Wisconsin-System library catalog. I am a co-lead developer of this project. It's a Ruby on Rails application, using a PostgreSQL / Apache Solr backend for data storage and retrieval.
Homepage uses IP address to geo-aware "suggest" nearest UW campus.
Homepage allows easy switching between UW System or local campus searching.

Book result page, includes contextual author data from Google's Freebase API
Digital collection homepage. Example images automatically rotate. Subjects are solr facets.
